They ignored the warning signs and it cost them everything...

At the end of a life-changing summer a devastating tornado hit the small town of Hope’s Grove, Oklahoma.

While the brick suburban mansions of Summit Bluffs saw very little damage, their occupants weren’t so lucky. As the members of both communities struggle to put the pieces of their lives back together, lies will be told, truths will be revealed, and nothing will ever be the same. The road to recovery is long and paved with past hurts and future heartbreaks.

They ignored the warning signs, and one of them didn’t make it out alive. The four that remain know they’d be crazy to think the storms are actually over..

Because it’s just when you think you’re safe that you find yourself right in the path of destruction.

Grief is a strange animal. It makes us take risks, howl at the moon, crawl under the covers and sob until our throats are raw and eyes painful to open. It can do all this in a matter of minutes. A seemingly never-ending rollercoaster of emotion that is both healing and exhausting.

The teens of Hope’s Grove and Summit Bluff know this ride all too well. After a summer of blistering heat of the sexual chemistry kind and a heartwrenching conclusion to the most evil of cliffhangers, PATH OF DESTRUCTION picks up after a storm like no other. Dazed, mired in grief, the people of two little towns in Oklahoma must try and pick up the pieces.

A notable absence makes this harder and while I won’t spoil it, I’m going to be totally evil and say there was an exhale of relief sizable enough to start another tornado when I realised it wasn’t one of my faves. Going to hell…

As our four remaining teens must adjust to life without a dear companion, we see just how devastating a loss it truly is.

One of my favourite things about Elizabeth and Caisey’s writing is how wonderfully talented they are at making you FEEL every emotion. Every stricken moment as a memory overwhelms, every smile that plays delicately on the lips as a momentary reprieve is given, these girls have serious talent!

Even more so when it comes to romance! The chemistry sizzles in the most unexpected of places as new relationships one never thought possible come to pass and I LOVED it. I adored the exploration of friendships turning to something more as barriers were broken, risks were taken and trust was forged. Characters I hadn’t warmed to at all in STORM WARNING are now firm favourites and the character development was excellent.

With yet another evil ending, tons of Feels, amazing drama and unforgettable characters, PATH OF DESTRUCTION was the perfect sequel and I am DYING for more!

I remember you loving the first book, Storm Warning but I still haven’t read it. Both sound SO GOOD.

Glad you loved it lady 🙂

I’m going to hell with you then. I wish it had been someone else, but this one was still ok even though it still broke my heart! You did great with your review girl, keeping things vague but still conveying your enjoyment. 🙂 Can’t wait for the last book!
